I am looking for a self timer on my kodak easyshare m1063 camera

The user manual for the Kodak EasyShare M1063 camera states it takes a Kodak Li-Ion rechargeable digital camera battery, KLIC 7001.

Page 1, Step 2 even has an illustration of the battery and the direction in which to install it.

If the battery still does not fit, I suggest you visit a nearby store which sells cameras and camera equipment and ask one of the individuals working there for assistance with the battery and camera. (Take the camera and battery with you.)

It sounds as if your camera is in close-up mode, where it only focuses on close-up objects. Try putting it into one of the other modes. What happens then?

Press the self-timer button (on the back, above the display, marked with a one-handed clock) to toggle the self-timer. To start the timer, press the shutter release button as normal.

Press the Menu button, use up/down to select "Self-timer," choose an option, then press OK. To start the self-timer, press the shutter release button as normal.
