Cleaned screens on water supply. Plenty of water coming into washer and drain is fine. FH code still flashes about 1 minute after starting.

Take the lid off attached to the inlet valve to the dispenserr you will see a little white mechanisim in line with them. this is called your flowmeter take it off and blow through it is should sound like a cazoo. put it back on and try to do a wash cycle. if this doesn't help you need a new flowmeter. also if you take the kick panel off you will find the tech sheet to help you diagnose this problem.

I have code fh

Hey Lukec,

The FH error code on your Kenmore Elite washer indicats that there is a problem with in-coming water flow. When the water feeding the washer is less than what it should be, the FH code will trigger and the washer will shut down.

You can check a couple of common problems that can manifest this error code after resetting the machine. Steps for reset and diagnostics can be found below.

  1. Using the "Pause/Cancel" button on the washer control panel (this button will be below the digital time clock, to the lower right of the wash cycle selector) by pressing the "Pause/Cancel" button twice to cancel the wash cycle.
  2. Next, unplug the washer from the wall socket (this will reset the error code).
  3. Several things you can do to troubleshoot the follow issue are these:

Check for kinks in the water supply hose.

Turn off the water supply (hot and cold) and remove the hoses from the back of the washer. Check the port screens at the hose connections for sediment buildup and clean as necessary.
  4. Reconnect the water supply hoses to the washer and turn on the water supply.
  5. Plug the washer cord back into the wall outlet.Select the wash cycle and press the "Start" button.
If the error code returns, you will likely have internal water flow issues due to the pump or other internal problems which may require a service technician.

Hope this helps.

FH IS FLASHING ON THE WASHER AND IT HAD STOPPED WORKING ONLY 5 MNUTES INTO ITS CYCLE

    Hello,

The FH error code means the computer on the control board didnt detect any water entering the washer..sometimes it doesnt detect the water entering because the filter screens on the water inlet valve are clogged with sediment and water is having a hard time entering the washer.

The filter screens can be checked by turning off water at the faucets and disconnecting the fill hoses from the back of the machine and pop the scrrens out of where the hoses connect at the washer and check for blockage in them. If they are found to be clean check the water coming out of the hoses before connecting them back to the washer...if the screens are clean and water pressure is good out of the hoses the part of the washer called the FLOW METER would need to be replaced

    Hi

Error code FH appears when No water is detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip is not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. If there is no water entering the unit then make sure that the inlet valves are working fine. You may need to check the continuity at the inlet valves. If the valves are fine then check whether inlet water hoses as they might be plugged. Also check for inlet water screen at the valve. However, if the water is entering into the washer then the Drain pump might not be working. Also inspect the Pressure Switch hose whether it is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch. Also check hoses for leak and inspect the flow meter. Hope this helps...

HE3t has an FH error code checked the following and are OK. pressure switch, flow meter, and inlet valves water flows in without restriction. What else could it be? Craig

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting fixya.com.

FH error code means low water inflow. In this error washer is not filling when the fill valve opens.
To clear the error please follow the bellow instructions:-
Press the "Stop" button twice with your finger. This cancels the cycle and stops the washer. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.Turn the water shut off valves clockwise to stop the water flow to the washer through the supply hoses. Pull the washer away from the wall enough that you can access the hose connections at the back of the washer.

Set a bucket under the area of the hose connections. Unscrew the hose connections from the back of the washer. If necessary, use a pair of slip joint pliers to help start the connections turning until you can turn them by hand. Set the ends of the hoses inside the bucket.Inspect the screens on the inlet ports on the back of the washer where the hoses connect. Sediment and other debris can block these screens, causing fill problems. Clean the screen with an old toothbrush.

Thread the hoses back onto the washer. Look for kinks in the hoses. Kinks cut off water supply to the washer which causes the FH error code. Once you connect the hoses, turn the water supply valves counter-clockwise to supply water to the washer. Move the bucket away from the washer and push the washer back into its working position.Plug the power cord back into the outlet and start the wash cycle again. If the FH error code comes up again, call a service repairman. If the hoses have no kinks and the inlet screens are clean, there is a problem with either the pressure switch or the flow meter.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

    F11 error code

The F11 code means there is an electrical with the Maytag Epic washer. This could involve wiring, fuses or a number of other issues.

Press the "Pause" button twice to stop the current cycle. Press the "Drain" button to remove any excess water. Try to run the washer again. If the F11 code repeats, shut the washer off and contact a service agent
    .
The FH error code may be mistaken for the F11 code. The FH code signals a water supply issue and has nothing to do with electrical problems. Check the LCD screen to ensure you read the proper code
