No solution known to fix this. Internal the software tries to refind itself.

In Linksys software there are two separate programs running. The video is sent to the wireless router and recorded on your computer. Whether it is alive or not and can be configured is a different program. That program requires the wireless camera be literally just a few feet from the wireless router. Say 5 feet or less. One configured you can move the camera to well over 100 feet from router fine.

But eventually it will lose connection and you have physically move camera back.

This is a major flaw of this system and why it won't work for a real application

My Sony Bravia Tv keeps losing wireless connection with my media server (Computer) I can reconnect but it happens randomly daily

Are you using wired or wireless network connections? Is your computer configured properly to act as a DHCP source? If you are using a router, is it configured properly. This sounds like a network issue at this point. More information about your network setup would be helpful.

I keep losing signal or internet connection on my laptop but desktop is still connected what can I do I continuously rest the router but keep losing it, Also what is the security button for on the router

Do you have something like a cordless phone or baby monitor near the router or laptop? These can cause interference with the wireless signal and cause dropped connections.

The security button is for if you have a compatible wireless card, you can get it to 'automatically' configure the wireless settings by pushing this button on the wireless router, and then press the button on the wireless client... they exchange the wireless keys, etc and establish a connection without having to configure it in Windows.

If you are interested in further info about the router, you can find the use manual here:

Hope that helps :)

Keep losing internet connection.

The simplest solution is usually to switch from eNet's management to Windows' Wireless Configuration Utility. Other than that, solving the problem would need much more detail, such as the router type, the distances involved, the router's antenna setup, the other equipment in the are and any intervening obstacles.

Losing connection

I assume this is a cable modem? You need to call your cable company and have a trouble ticket created. I worked for the cable company installing cable for quite a while and I bet my paycheck the signal getting to the modem are below specs and that's why the modem gets dropping the internet connection.

Hope this helps.
