Replacing the fuser will fix that. Or if you want to strip it down check the lamps and if they are ok change the thermistor and thermostat. But your better off just replacing the whole unit'

I have a copystar c2520 and am getting a c6000 error which was cleared with 10871087 and then 163 but now im getting a c6030 code and it will not clear. could this be that the fuser is no good?

C6000, С6030 is Abnormally high temperature in the fixing section – The fixing unit thermistor output voltage remains less than 0.5 V for longer than 1 s, indicating the fixing temperature rises above 536F this may be the fuser is no good. Sorry? coll to Servise center Mita. Dood lack!

I am getting an error C6000 on my Kyocera KM-1820 after we had a power outage. I can't seem to get it to turn off. What do I need to do in order to get the copier to work again and for it not to have the...

Go into the service mode ( 10871087 ) then enter 163 then hit the start button. This clears the C6000 (heater error) and if it is a false code due to a power outage, it will clear the code and resume normal operation. If the code comes back, you likely have a bad heater lamp or thermal fuse or thermistor.

C6000 error code

Hi

Error C6000 is displayed when your machine fails to reach the correct temparature at a specific time.

This is a Fuser Unit Problem, try to reset it by--

First open top cover then turn on power.
press system menu/counter
arrow down to service
press and hold start, # then enter keys
arrow down to maintenance
press enter
arrow down to Sim 163
press enter
select execute
press enter
turn off power then back on

If the reset doesn't work then get your unit checked for fuser unit and fuser unit heat issues.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Copystar cs-2550 service code c6000

try this. enter "10871087" from keypad. you should now be in maintenance mode. enter "163"press "start or print" key. you should see a screen that says "execute" or it may say "reset". cursor or highlight "execute" and press "start" key. now press "stop/clear" once or twice. then press "01" then "start" to exit maint. mode. very important!! as soon as you press "01" and you see "please wait" open your front door. wait 2 secs, then close door. that should get you going unless there is a true failure. good luck and you may want to write this procedure down as it may happen sometime again.

KYOCERA copystar CS-1820 ERROR C6000

Your problem is heat related, or the lack of heating at least. one of 2 things went wrong here... either the fuser unit overheated causing the thermal fuse (aka the thermostat) to blow, or the heating lamp in the fuser unit is blown. Basically the 6000 code is displayed when your machine fails to reach the correct temparature at a specific time. Unfortunately you will have to call a service person to check which to of the mentioned components are at fault and to replace that component for you. After replacing, the component the code will still be displayed as a safety measure, so the service representative will need to clear the code via the machine's service mode
