Was watching my Mitsubishi 65" model wd-65638 we heard a pop tv went out with a red light then unplugged and light went green but tv still no work

If the lamp has failed, don't fall for just paying big $$ for a new one from Misubishi. Instead, of buying their whole lamp assembly, just buy the bulb from me or many other sources on the net and install it into the assy yourself.

No,probally a capacitor the help the power supply board to work or other boards to work is blown.Call some tv shops get a best quotes prices,get a tv tech out to it fix,if ur tv is out of warrenty.

Mitsubishi dlp wd-65638 with error code 61. What is this error code? How do I fix? no picture or audio.

if the power LED is flashing green then there is a circuit or board that either has a blown fuse or relay. if it comes on solid red when you turn on the television then the Lamp inside is burned out and needs replaced. Before you spend all the money that changing the bulb would cost i would invest that money in a good LED Smart TV instead. Sometimes you just gotta let that old technology go away.

Press menu and input on front of TV for 5 seconds. Green light will flash two digit code 5 times. '12' is no error(no problem.)
