Freezer is 1998 & model # is AU120KW.

It is uaually coded into the model #. Usually in the middle. I can usually eyeball them. another solution is measure the outside dimensions of a refrigerator or freezer you know the size of then compare them. This will give you a rough estimate.
SOURCE: Gassy smell in upright freezer
Is this a refrigerator in a household or an RV?
The reason I ask is that RV refrigerators use ammonia, which you can smell. If you read the article you probably read that Freon does not have an odor, in extreme cases you can smell burnt refrigeration oil when a system with a large leak has been left running, but by then the unit wouldn't be working.
If your refrigerator did in fact have a leak it wouldn’t be working, due to such a small amount of refrigerant present. ( typically about 5 ounces )
So, your gassy smell is likely from something else. I find this happens most often when potatoes or carrots are stored for long periods of time in the refrigerator, usually in the crispers. When starchy vegetables wilt ( get smaller with age ) they give off a gas. The smell eventually comes not from the starch, but from the bacteria that starts growing on it. All this happens on a microscopic level so you won't see anything. good luck
SOURCE: How many cubic feet is this freezer
After looking over their website, which is not very helpful, it appears that it would be approximately 5.0 to 5.2 cubic feet. It seems that in most cases, the model number contains the size. Check it out at Danby.com
Hope this helps.
SOURCE: I have an Amana upright freezer (model esu13dl)
I have some experience in refrigeration (since I was 16 to now ,I'm 41 years old) and we only replace the grommets when replacing the compressor ,I don't recomended to do that in that little room ,you can bend or break a copper pipe and then will be a big problem.
Testimonial: "I don't think replacing the grommets did much help in resolving the issue; the compressor still makes a racket when it shuts down. Tks for your reply."

The lower hinge on each door
may have a door closing cam. It raises the door up ¼ inch when opening and this
assist in closing the door. If it’s wore out and doesn’t work the door may not
seal and the gasket can be damaged. Watch the operation of the door to see if
it rises up when opened.
Leave the door shut and let the magnetic gasket hold the
door in place. Put something between the bottom of the door and the floor to hold it in case it slips.
Remove the bracket holding the pin and hinge assembly taking
note of order of removal of parts. Slide new cams on. You probably need two.
Thank you for your post, friend!
I see you would like to know the cubic footage of your Frigidaire freezer. Based off the model number you have provided it appears that you have a 21 cubic foot freezer. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt
