I have a front load whirlpool duet washing machine model GHW9400SU0 and when set on bulky items setting the spin cycle setting goes to low spin and will not change, So the clothes come out soak and wet. All the other settings can be changed to the spin speed desired. You would think on Bulky items it would set on extra high spin automaticly!! Anybody have any ideas?
The machine uses automatic load sensors to balance the load and when you put something in the machine that is big, like a comforter, it knows that it cannot balance that item. So with a front loader it wont spin at high speed because it would be off balance and either damage the machine or the machine would "walk" because of the off balance motion.
