y dont u format it on windows try card reader if nothing happens then ur card is faulty it seems like

Hi there and welcome to FixYa. There could be a couple of things off the top of my head that could be giving you the problem, so we'll try solutions for them both.
A) Go into the menu of your camera and format your cards. Your camera won't save pictures to a card properly if you don't format it first. - Go into the Setup menu for this. And remember, you have to format the cards in the camera, don't use your pc or a card reader.
B) The above will take care of your problem unless.... your cards are locked. SD cards have a switch on the side of them so you can lock the card (it prevents accidental erasure). In that case, unlock it with the switch on the side. Let me know with a comment if you have any questions or problems, or if either of these solutions doesn't do the trick.

On the SD card there is a little switch you can move. It has 2 positions, LOCKED, and UNLOCKED. To make the card available, put the switch in the UNLOCKED position.
Here is an example-
If that doesn't work, try putting the card into a memory card reader, like on your PC or a special USB attachment. If the memory card is recognized, then it might be a problem with your camera.
