sounds like a failing t-con board. this board is on the back of the screen controls the signals to the screen. ribbon from main board goes to the t-con board.

Fault with main board. Damaged component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. If so, a software [firmware] update too will be necessary.

maybe you need the dvr or their box and use that into input (channel 3 or 4) and use the remote.

You need to go into on screen TV tuner/channel scanning setup page and change the signal source from CABLE to ANTENNA so it will scan again to pick up off the air signals. Please read the TV user manual for more details.

For setting it your set you will have to connect the antenna to the back of set.
Go into the setup menu to select the input signal source.
Set the signal input to the antenna air.
Go to the scan section of the setup menu.
Scan in the channels. You can move the antenna and re-scan to try to get more channels.
Exit menu.
Now you can watch.

It is important for the TV to know what type of
signal-Cable TV (CATV) or a normal antenna
you are using. Choose your signal (Antenna or
Cable):
Press MENU to see the main menu.
Press CH+ or CH- to highlight Setup.
Press OK to enter the Setup submenu.
TV/CATV is highlighted. Press VOL+ or
VOL- to select TV or CATV.
Choose CATV if you have Cable TV
service. (See page 4 for connection
details.) If you do not have Cable TV
service and you connected an antenna
to the TV, choose TV. (See page 5 for

Press MENU repeatedly to exit the
menu or the menu will automatically
disappear within a few seconds if no

For channel setup you will need to;
1) Connect the signal source to the back of the set.(Antenna or Cable)
2) Go into the TV Menu and select the same signal source you connected to the back.(Antenna or Cable)
3) Go to the auto program/scan menu and run it. This may take a few minutes.

Now the channels may be watched.
