SOURCE: please I need the colors and in which number I need to put them back at the timer

If you look on the back of the timer,...if it is an older type timer/dryer which it sounds like it is because most modern timers have plug in type wirering harnesses,...you will see,(you might need magnifying glass), that each point to connect a wire at will have a y, (yellow), g, (green), blu, (for blue), R, (Red), V, (violet) and blk or bk for black and so on and so for stamped on the time next to the spade the wire connects to...write back with a model number if that doesn't help...

Hello, Lowes, sears or home depot have the screwdrivers you need. All shape and sizes. Just draw what it looks like and take too store to compare.

Gene, I have a disassembled Malibu 300 W transformer with timer. I need a wiring diagram to reassemble it. Can you help?

Sorry, I don't have wiring diagram for Malibu ML300, and have not taken one apart. And I would like to see what you have.
Other people have written asking how to reassemble various timers, and I recommend turning back the hands of time and photographing each part before it is taken off.

Here's what we can do:
Photograph what you have using 'macro' setting on camera for close-ups, and then post photos on flickr or piccassa.
Then add a comment with link to photos.
Possibly we can puzzle it back together.

I have outdoor T101 in gray steel box that controls on/off of my pool pump/filter.. Timer/clock is working. I am finding that on manual shut off to work on pool filter, when power put back on using...

I don't think the timer is causing the problem.
There is no delay switch on the timer or inside the household electrical circuit breaker or household wires.
The contact point(s) located on back of timer mechanism are mechanically pushed together and pulled apart with the manual override lever.
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Back-of-WH40-2b-500.jpg
You can test timer:
Test across terminals A and 1 should show continuous 120V no mater what position override lever.
Flip override to OFF, then test terminals A and 2 should show 0 volts.
Flip override to ON, then test terminals A and 2 should show 120V: If A and 2 show 120Volts and pump is not ON, then problems is between timer and pump or at pump.
Look at wiring terminals on timer. Only copper wire should be under the screw plate. No insulation under screw plate. Two different size wires on same terminal will cause loose connections. Stranded wire and solid copper wire under same screw plate will also cause loose connections.

Sounds like a loose wire or short at the circuit breaker box, timer wiring terminals, or at pump.
Check all screw terminals and wire nuts. Look for smell or signs of heat and burning. Look for connections where two different size wires are connected. Look for connects where stranded wire and solid copper wire connect.

I have to spin the timer by hand to turn the lights on and off.I have the Intermatic ML900TW transformer. It seems to me I just need to replace the timer but they have been discontinued by Malibu Lights and...

PB912 timer module is not available separately.
Following link shows available PB series model numbers:
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Intermatic-PB800-PB900-timers.pdf
http://waterheatertimer.org/Malibu-power-pack-stopped-working.html

If clock motor no longer operates, you can set power pack to override and then plug power pack into cheap in-wall timer.
Some people report being able to disassemble clock motor and clean gears and reassemble with a bit of white grease on gears. Other people report they took it apart and forgot to mark the tiny gears and couldn't reassemble the parts. My experience with clock motors and motors in general is once they slow down and overheat, they never work correctly again and are sorely underpowered afterwards. It would be easier to buy a cheap plug-in timer.

Dryer will not turn off after cycle is complete

You Have a Broken Timer... There are metal points inside the Timer and can melt together so when the dryer reachs its end cycle they should come apart to leave the circuit open but wont since they melted together and continues to run. Also if the dryer has a computer board controling everything that would have to be replaced if it dosnt have a timer.

1. You will have to replace the timer if your going to accomplish this on your own you will need the model number which is located on the inside of the door opening will say mod or model.

2. You will need to find a appliance parts house in your area and call them to find out how much the new timer will cost plus to make sure they still make them and if on there shelf.

3. Once you have the new timer you will need a small flat head screw driver, 1/4" - 5/16" socket and a Phillips head screw driver to remove back panel bolts.

4. (WARNING) Unplug the dryer always make sure its unplugged or you risk being severly injurded or possible death the dryer has 220 volts running thru it!

5. Remove the back panel on the dryer where the dash is once removed you will see all the wires connecting to the timer. This is where the 1/4" or 5/16 socket comes in unless its a phillips head screw driver should be 1/4" some models will require a specail star bit normally on GE Dryers

6. Remove the timer knob should slide right off then remove the 2 1/4" screws holding the timer to the dash.

7. With new timer in hand make sure it lines up with the old one so you can put the wires back where they go (IMPORTANT THERE WILL BE 2 BLACK OR BROWN WIRES GOING TO A METAL LOOKING ROUND THING THATS THE CLOCK IT DRIVES THE TIMER LEAVE THEM WIRES WHERE THERE AT) now slowly remove 1 WIRE AT A TIME off old timer and connect to new timer where they go so you dont get wires hooked up to wrong post and fry the new timer if wires wont pop off yous your flat head screw driver to gently pry the wires off the post.

8. Place timer back where it goes there are aligment holes to help and replace the 2 screws you took out earlier from the timer.

9. Replace the back panel to the dash once completed plug in your dryer and replace the timer knob and set it to 5 mins let the dryer run till it shuts off to make sure its working properly.

If your dryer has a Computer Board the new board you order will have instructions for installing it alor the them are different on how the go in.

If unsure or dont want to fool with it call a qualified techinician to service your dryer for you but hopfully this will get you back going again have a good day.

Keeps heating on cooldown

needs new timer switch
the timer swithc contains 2 switches one for the motor and one for the heating element, the element switch has fused closed. not reliably repairable,

even if open the timer, break apart the contacts, file them smooth, reassemble, will still lock up again

replacement is less than a new dryer
