thats a very old crt tv try sanjo website for parts but i think a line timebase/flyback transformer for that model will not be easy to find

Replace the caps in the Vert and Horz Circurit. they are cheep enough.

Monitor is probably shot how old is the one in question ???

sir may ginagawa akong tv ang trouble nya. pag on mo ng tv after mga 2 to 3 .minutes nawawala na ang sound tpos pag pinatay mo at pag plug mayron uli sounds tpos nawawala uli sound buo ang i.c sanyo st 21ys2

Try disconnecting the connector KBL on the main board as shown in my picture #DSCF0585 to see if the backlights will come on, if it does, the main board is bad.
Also check the voltages on the output connectors of the power supply.

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

First, you need to know the sub-model of your TV.

It is called "chassis" and is shown on the back of the TV on the label where the model number is shown.

For example it can be "P42849-00" or "P42849-01".

Then search at www.coppelltvrepair.com/search or just go to www.coppelltvrepair.com and enter the link for SANYO DP SERIES to search for that.
