The printhead might be defective. If your printer is still under warranty, please contact our technical support team to have the printhead replaced. If not, you can purchase a printhead online at http://bit.ly/ghfW8H
Hello, Please try this: Power off the printer, take the Color cartridge out(Magenta), take a thin and dust-free cloth or tissue and clean the hysinc mirror and the printerhead lens. The hysinc mirror and printerhead lens is in the printer not on the magenta cartridge. Reinstall the print cartridge and power on. Try again to print this will help.

go to www.kodak.com/go/printheadsupport. You will have to take the ink cartridges out the tray in which you put the ink cartridges in is actually the printhead so you need too pinch in the extreme left top corner pushing upwards to release it from the latch.........let me know if this was helpful
Unlatch the printhead by pressing the button in the upper-left corner of the carriage.
see User’s Guide page 75 you can see it at www.kodak.com/go/downloads I would also advised you to do a deep clean by going to menu>clean printhead then deep clean. Believe this has nothing to do with cartridges contact aio support if this fails
