Try using the galaxy to format the sd card if that doesn't work use a computer to format it. Make sure the box infront of Quick Format is unchecked. Let us know of your results.

Their could be a possibility that the card is faulty, do you have another device you can try the card in , if it isnt recognised by another device , then i would assume their is a fault with the SD Card and send for a replacement

How to fix error downloading insufficient space on device but I have a 8gb microsd card with lots of room and nothing will download please help this is my second next book tablet I just want to fix th

Amber,
I think your problem may be due to it downloading into the internal memory of the tablet. There may be a way of moving the apps into the external micro sd card rather than deleting them.

From http://www.tomsguide.com/forum/id-2055729/set-downloaded-games-google-play-directly-external-card-samsung-galaxy-tab.html

" Go into settings, then to storage, then to used space, then to applications. In applications manager go to sd card there will be a list of your applicationsicon1.png, touch/click on each one individually and within each one that can be moved, is a box "move to sd card" touch that box and wala it is moved! To move pictures I reset the cameras auto storage to the sd card then moved all my other pictures to the camera file which then stored them on the sd card. I then deleted the pictures from the system memory. Hope this helps! "

I have an irulu tablet. I inserted a 32gb sd card. It says it is mounted and when i try to install an app from the google play store i get the message there is insuficient space available. how do i get it...

Most apps do not natively install to an SD card when downloaded from the play store. You have to have an app like AppManager, that has a function to 'move' apps from internal storage to an SD card, or use a manual option in the Android Settings section to move each app individually.. If you are that tight on space that you cannot load any new app, you may have to delete or move something from your internal storage so you can download AppManager or some similar app, and then move as many apps as you can to your SD card. If you have a lot of photos and music you can try moving that to the SD card if your player/viewer software will allow you to find it there. Best way to move bulk items (music/photos, not apps) is to connect to a PC through USB, which brings up your internal storage and the SD card as external USB storage items. Then copy from internal storage to SD card through your PC. Best to establish folders on the SD card to hold these items and then tell your app where they are.

How to delete music from samsung 2014 edition tablet

If these are on the device and not a SD card & it works like a traditional Android device, you probably have two options; you can use a file manager app, go to the directory and manually delete them right from there. You can also plug the device into your computer, go to the directory where the music is (my non-samsung device has a folder labeled 'Music'), remove them that way and even add other music. I dont know if Samsung still wants you to use their program called Kies; their version of a iTunes like file manager; it may have the drivers you need for your computer to recognize the tablet, you can download it from their site usually, but on my older Samsung device, once my computer had the drivers it needed,s I just used my computers file manager to add and remove media.

If you have put these on a SD card, just shut off the device, remove the card, and put in a card reader attached to your computer and move things around at will.

Instructions manuals

pictures should already be loaded to SD card... if not, you probably need to format SD card and then try again. I've had issues with SD cards going from laptop to Tab 3 but my pics taken with my camera always load to SD card. Now pictures I have downloaded from the internet I can open up in my Gallery, tap the picture and then hit settings and move to SD card

Need to transfer music files and pictures from my apple computer to samsung galaxy tab, how to do it?

Try connecting the Galaxy to your computer with the included USB cable. Then, select the notification (open the notification drawer by pulling down on the status bar) that says USB cable connected and follow the steps to mount your SD Card. At this point, the Tab should appear as a device/driver in Finder. If not, try connecting them to the same network and try something like On Air from the Market to connect over-the-air.
Since you are using an Android, you don't have to use anything like iTunes to transfer music and pictures. Simply copy them onto a folder on the SD card and then browse to them on the Tab using My Files and open them in whatever app you use. If you would prefer a proper syncing arrangement, try the free DoubleTwist app and corresponding Mac application to connect your device.
