Is it possible to change the scan engine in the MC9090 to a long range version - if so what is the required model. We have a number of short range scanners and want to change the scan distance. I have seen a qty of SE-1200-LR-I000A long range scan engines on Ebay and wonder if they would work Thanks Adrian

You may need to reflash the OS. you can normally download it from symbol webpage. you will need a cradle and an SD card.

It can read all standard symbologies apart from PDF symbologies unless it is equipped with an imager scan engine.

First thing is to run the wireless utility.
Start >> Programs >> Fusion >> WCLAUNCH
Once thats running an icon will apear in the task bar.
Click the icon and select "Enable Radio"
