Toshiba m700 dvd won't play music - Toshiba Portege M700-S7002 Tablet PC

Try re-installing the following and reboot:

For Windows 7
1. Toshiba Fingerprint Utility (for Windows 7 (32/64) click here,
2. Upek Fingerprint Driver (for Windows 7 (32/64) click here,

For Windows Vista
1. Toshiba Fingerprint Utility here or here.

If above steps won't work, the issue is most likely a hardware issue. To make sure that it's not, I recommend trying to do a full system recovery (if you don't mind starting from scratch - turn the computer OFF, hold the 0 key then turn the computer ON).

If you still encounter the same issue, call Toshiba support and have the unit serviced at 1-800-457-7777 (for US) or 1-800-663-0778 (for Canada).

try to open a virtual keyboard maybe one of your keys is stuck it should be in programs accessories

try going on the website www.toshiba.com fo user manual downloads .

If the optical drive On/Off utility icon says OFF you cannot open the drive. You will have to turn it ON.
Point to the icon with the mouse cursor and right click. You will have the option to turn power to drive ON. Verify it by pressing Fn-TAB.

try UAA Microsoft high Defenition Audio, at microsoft website

goto your control panel or system setup for mouses and pointers and you should see the option for the digital pen setup try that ok ..

it is input device as mouse. it is use in to play game. we can operate game by arrow key in key bord. But joistick is as handle, we can roated it any direction so it hehps easy to play game. we can get it in usb and serial. thanks

You need to say what model your tablet pc is:
M800   --->barely playable with low settings
M700   --->barely playable with minimal settings
M400   --->unplayable
R400    ---->unplayable
R500    --->unplayable
they are very different in specs, I'd say the only one that can hope to play it is the M800...but they all have integrated intel graphic, which make an horrible gaming machine...
