What kind of tablet? How old? Many tablets will not power up if battery is fully drained. So let it charge, if it still isn't working, check that it is charging/getting power. If that doesn't work, you should go online and check the hard reset, hard startup.... usually holding power on and volume up button at the same time for several seconds
Are you sure it's fully charged (like for 12 hours)? If so, try holding down the power button for at least 10-15 seconds, maybe more. Sometimes that works.
Either the power converter (wall Pack) has no output of voltage....Or the battery has run its cycle of life. Symptoms of bad battery are, will take no charge,or not hold a charge for very long, or will not charge fully.I have an IPOD that I charged fully, and then put it away for a long time, when I got it back out....it wouldn't take a charge at all. These kind of issues are common with batterys . Hope this is helpful.
Check the battery is charged - it may be duff and nee replaced if it is not charging or your power adaptor may not be charging it - check it with a multimeter - the power socket on laptops and tablets are very susceptible to damage - if that fails then plug it into a pc using the usb port - it will charge very slowly as usb only has a very low charge current but be patient and if it charges up after 12 hours using the usb method you will know one way or another whether its the battery or the power socket or charger.
Or do you mean you are stuck at the boot screen?
Happened to me. My solution was to fully charge, then hold down power button for like one minute or more continuously. It causes some kind of restart. Last resource, Press Vol Down and hold, then depress power button and hold. This causes it to go back to reset mode. Good Luck.
