The Video (Picture) is SEPERATE from the Audio component of the TV. One can work when the other has gone south. From what I see, the Audio controller board may have been damaged somehow and needs to be replaced. Contact a serviceman for details.
If the picture is OK then check your sound cables, red and white if analog, or swap out the HDMI cable with one that you know works.
Also, on the SETTINGS screen make sure your audio is set to stereo not surround sound.
It sounds like your tv might be on the way out. You will have to check this by putting another device on it. If the TV is working fine for all your channels then it is the DVD player or the DVD. A Blu Ray will not work on all TVs or all DVD players without what is called a scan converter.
I'd guess it is not a bulb issue if the audio also stopped working. Check your input source, connections and the like. Try using a different input (ie input 4 or the front AV connectors) and a different source (ie your old Nintendo instead of your DVD player).
Check sound on "Tuner" input. If still no audio, post a comment with your other equipment makes and models as well as cabeling and I can help some more.
Can you try just running a/v cable from your tv output to the inputs on the ilo, then whatever you watch on your tv you can record on your dvd burner. My new SDTV doesnt have audio out except Coax so this won't work for me on that tv. Why doesnt the newer tv's have audio AND video outputs???
