Question about Tablets & eReaders
Tried a new charger.....tried holding the power button and volume button for 10 seconds...
Have you tried turning off tablet with charger plugged in and letting it charge up. You should see a battery symbol come onto the screen with a pulsing level indicating the battery is being charged. hold in power till unit turns off then plug in charger cable into tablet and switch on charger at power point . Do not try and push power switch to power up tablet see if screen indicates charging is occurring. I have experienced this exact problem on a samsung tablet !

Hi! I do understand that you are having the problem on the laptop turning on. Try another option, turn off laptop, remove cables and battery, press and hold power button for 10 secs. Reinsert the cables and battery on the laptop. Then turn it on. If the laptop did not turned on, remove the power cable and turned on the laptop. If still didn't, remove the battery and insert the power cable. If still did not work then check if there lights flashed on the laptop when turning it on. If still does not, then you need to contact the pc manufacturer for repair and possible replacement. Otherwise, if there is light on the laptop, then there might be a problem either the battery or the power cable itself. If there is light on the laptop but no power cable, most likely the monitor did not work simply because the battery works due to the fact that there is light on the laptop. On the other hand if there is light when plugging in the power cable on the laptop, then you need to check and insert another battery if it works. Otherwise you need to replace the battery...

If holding down the power button for 10 seconds (theoretically, try holding it down for ages and be patient) doesn't reset your device, you may have to wait for the battery to run flat, then try the reset procedure again.
Hope this helps, Alistair
