WHAT'S THE CAUSE BATTERY DISCONNECTED

What kind of car are you asking about and are you buying it or do you own it? Most times that a battery is disconnected is to prevent drain, usually a parasitic drain caused by computer, if storing for a long period of time or many times the disconnect is to try to clear a computer code. The problem with doing this can cause the computer to do an anti theft lock out that will prevent the car from starting. Especially a Chrysler or Dodge.

Have never owned one so I want to make sure I am doing this stuff correctly. It didnt come with much of a guide.I plugged it in to my laptop to charge it then it automaticlly says ok to disconnect. when im...

If you are trying to charge it, and your computer says "OK to disconnect", then you can just ignore it. This is your computer telling you that disconnecting the device will not adversely affect the computer. If it's your MP3 player that is saying "OK to disconnect", I can only tell you that keeping it plugged into your computer via a USB cord will probably continue to charge it.

If you're unsure, disconnect it from the computer and see if there's an indicator for the amount of battery life remaining on your player.

I hope this helps.

This thing does not work always says ok to disconnect

When the mp3 player is connected to the computer, the only message it will generally give you is "OK to Disconnect" - this is normal.

Once you disconnect the mp3 player from the computer, then you can find your music, listen to music, etc.

If you are getting the "OK to Disconnect" message when the mp3 player is already disconnected from the computer:

Reset the player first.

If that fails:
Disconnect the Go Gear from computer. Press the reset pinhole until the player turns off. Hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard. If this pop-up does not appear, reset the player again WHILE connected to the computer. Open the Philips Device Manager, and go to Repair Tab. Reset the player one more time while connected to computer. Follow the repair instructions.

My sansa e250 keeps connecting and disconnecting from the computer. every time i plug it into the computer, it keeps saying that it's connected and disconnected to the computer. this switches repeatidly...

If it is flashing constantly, go into Start --> Control Panel --> Printers/Other Hardware --> System --> Hardware --> Device Manager --> and uninstall either the Sansa or the MTP device. Disconnect the Sansa from the computer, and reinstall the software that came with the mp3 player.
