To connect a VCR/DVD player to a Sansui flat screen TV, you will need to use the appropriate cables and connections. Here are the general steps you can follow:
Check your TV and VCR/DVD player for the available ports. The TV should have RCA composite video and audio inputs, and the VCR/DVD player should have RCA composite video and audio outputs, or HDMI port.
Using the appropriate cables, connect the RCA composite video and audio outputs from the VCR/DVD player to the corresponding RCA composite video and audio inputs on the TV. If your VCR/DVD player has HDMI port, use HDMI cable to connect the TV and the VCR/DVD player.
Turn on your TV and VCR/DVD player.
On your TV, press the "Input" or "Source" button to switch to the input where the RCA composite video and audio cables are connected or HDMI.
Using the remote of your TV, go to the menu and select the input where the VCR/DVD is connected.
If you don't see any picture, try adjusting the settings on your TV and VCR/DVD player.
Once you are able to see the picture on your TV, you should be able to use your VCR/DVD player as you normally would.
If your DVD player is connected to your TV with a SCART cable, your TV should switch to DVD input when you insert a DVD and press' Play'. If you are connected with a standard co-axial aerial cable (fly lead) this wont work and you will need to buy a SCART cable (or new remote) if you wish to continue using your DVD player with this TV.
Hi, If your DVD with same AV cord working fine on another TV then its a problem of cold soldering of video pin that needs touch up soldering. And tv work fine again. Thanks for using fixya.
It should hook up like a regular VCR does. A short cable from the OUT on the back of the dvd player to the cable hookup on the back of the tv.
You can also use audio/video wires (3 wire cable). Somewhat same method...connect 3 wires to audio/video OUT of the dvd player to COMPONENT section on the back of the tv. Should be color coded to match colors on the 3 wires.
Hope this helps some. It is difficult to explain. Good luck!
i think , there shoud be an option as (factory mode ---- on/off) in system , if true then modify it first. if not true check all features in the menu for several times . other wise finally notedown the tv model number and buy a service modes for colour telivision , i think this boook is published by bpb. and search in that book for that tv model . adjust the service codes as there ...
