T.V. was working fine then made a loud pop and turned off.
I checked the fuse at the power cord and it's good but still
nothing. RCA M#P52731wk, S#433380314, CH#PTK169PGB.

I would guess that the HV Block has failed. A very common failure. I would hesitate trying to replace it unless you are familiar with Projection HV circuits. You did good supplying
the Model # and Chassi #. both are required to get the proper part# if you try to get the part yourself or calling a service shop to fix it.

I wouldn't think a fuse would be such a loud 'pop'.
If you have the unit open, have a look for a blown capacitor (little cylindral tube).
Most capacitors nowadays have a little cross on the top to prevent them from exploding, however if one has gone, you will see the top opened up.
I realise this isn't a 'solution' per-se. Hence why it is posted as a clarification request. Sorry I couldn't help much further than this.
