Treadles the treadles are bouncy, how do I fix this?

Any sewing repair shop will have, or can get the leather treadle belts. They come in one size and you cut them to fit your machine.

The treadles can sort of overlap and one gets stuck on the other. Try to carefully grab the front of the one that is higher and pull it away from the other treadle, then it should be able to be lowered. If you have a second person they could pull the lower treadle in the opposite direction. Be careful not to pinch your fingers!

You have to realign treadles ,take the back cover out and at the base of your unit you'll see two slides , couple of screws and yellow bushings if bushings are still in a good shape you can align treadles , if they're broken or worn out you have to replace them , I think there are 8 of them total ,they're called IGUS bushing

The FX is a bouncy car, but it's necessary to accommodate it's good performance. You can try some aftermarket air shocks, or check into different tires. That should help.
