Burn is is usually permanent(must replace panel, NOT cost effective)
You may have a screen position in your menu to try to wipe it, where the screen stays all white or wipes across screen from black to white to try to clear it) If it is burned in bad enough now it is too late.

50HP66 50 in. Plasma Television: i have red dots/shadowing on my tv...

I got the red dots really bad on my toshiba 50hp66 after an hour or two of watching tv. I found out that if you open up the tv in the back on the left you will find two adjustment pots labelled Vsc and Vy. I took a sharpie and marked where the factory defaults were first. Then I adjusted the Vy pot down a little bit and the red spots were gone! My tv looks great again!

The silver cover got a burn spot on it

Because the silver piece had a burn hole in it and the opening that it covered also had a burn mark, I bought a new one.

Burn at bottom of microwave

First try cleaning the burned mark off. Dip a scrubber in lemon juice and sprinkle salt on it; this is also great for burned coffee pots. The smell can be gotten rid of this way: Boil lemon peel in water, then put the water in a spray bottle. Not only will it make your microwave smell fresh but the lemon oil will make it easier to clean. If it still smells of burning rubber, take the back off and inspect the wiring. IF you see burned wiring, please do yourself a favor and replace the microwave!

Microwaves work by making the molecules in food get "excited"-they move more-meaning, if there IS rubber burning, then there will be minute molecules of rubber in your food, which is BAD for your immune system. If it's just burned chocolate, though, it is harmless unless you are allergic.

Shadowing on a Boxlight 6000E

look at the diffuser lenses just after the lamp. there should be 2. the second one tends to have burn spots after a while in dusty and hot conditions. if the lens is ok, look at the lcds with the light on. do you see shadows on the panels? if so, you have a main board issue. if not, you have a misaligned mirror.
