Change language Hello I started up my new asus eee 1000HE and it started i wrong language. I have set the keybord in norwegian, that i am i Norway and read norwegian, but still do all the information com in dannish. How can i change the information language? Thanks

Open Control Panel, select Region and Language, adjust to your preference.

in windows go to the control panel and select the icon that shows the globe. This is the language setting function. Choose English in the drop down list.

ASUS Eee PC 1000H DIY 1000HE chiclet keyboard upgrade

ASUS have been gradually transitioning to chiclet-style keyboards on their Eee PC netbooks, with the latest model to get the new style being the Eee PC 1000HA. If you're an existing owner looking longingly at the new layout, meanwhile, and specifically have an ASUS Eee PC 1000H, you can fudge your own update with the keyboard from the Eee PC 1000HE.

It's not just an aesthetic upgrade, either. ASUS bizarrely played around with the keyboard layout on the 1000H, one of the most obvious changes being the right-hand shift key getting nudged across by the up arrow. The 1000HE keyboard, however, has a more standard layout.

There's a little modification required before the keyboard panel slots in - basically snipping off a few metal tabs - but it looks relatively easy from EeeUser.com forum member Barovelli's photos (some of which are reproduced here). Not all users are reporting 100-percent key success, however, so don't throw away your old 'board.

The replacement 1000HE keyboard is priced at $15 through ASUS; however, it's currently listed as out of stock.

if by the right place you mean on the number 2, go to your control panel then go to region and language option, then keyboard and language tab then click on change keyboard, click on add and then select English(united states) then ok. this should do it

Assuming you have Vista, check via Start - Computer (Right-click) - Management - Disk Management and look at Disk 0. You'll see all the partitions. Total the space and you'll see the hard drive space on that disk.

you need to download english rom image file first
after you need to open rom image file with hex editor program
when you opened rom image file first three bytes ENG you need to changed NOR and save it and update your device when its finished you have english version
