There are a few ways to fix a flat tire.. First I don't recommend that you use Fix-a-Flat due to combustion issues in high heat.. {Step:1}. Go to Walmart or closest bike store and purchase the "Stick on Patch" made by Slime or get the old school patch kit witch i prefer and the patch kit includes, "Patches,Rubber Cement and a Tube Scratcher" {Step:3} take the rim off the bike and then take the tire off the rim by inserting a flat head screw driver careful not to poke the inner tube and use a second screw driver to pop off the tire from the rim and manual pull only one side of tire all the way around tell one side of the tire is off the rim make sure the valve stem cap is off and push the valve stem out and pull out tube.. {Step:3} this is my own special trick know one ever uses Pump the tube up just enough for air to come out of hole. In a sink of water put the tube in the water and were there are bubbles are were a hole is at... Get a Sharpe and mark that spot and dry inner tube and get the scraper from your kit and scratch all around the hole just to scruff it up a little.. {Step:4} Now here is the trick of all tricks... stretch the tube were hole is on the corner of a table not to much though with hole side up and apply a good amount of the rubber glue and light with a lighter and let burn for a few seconds blow it out and repeat one or two more times and then apply the patch """Blue Side Up"" with a roller type of devise roll the patch on to the tube rolling the roller back and forth repeatedly going up,down,sideways pressing firmly on the patch until the plastic on the blue side is coming off. Make sure the patch all the way around loks sealed.. Don't worry you can tell.. then your done.. now reinstall by reversing with out the screw drivers of course and by hand push the tire with your hands all the way around tell tire is on rim... Now you are an expert tire changer and your kids or even friends will get a show out of it due to the fire part.. Hope this helped cause it was a long lesson..Lol

I am sure the pin sheared, that is why the shifter is not center. Push the shifter back to original position so that the hole would line up( using little force) Knock out sheared pin and replace with new one.

You need to determine and eliminate the cause of every flat before repairing it or you may just might have a repeat.

There are several causes of a flat:
You may have a puncture. If you've a large tub which can fit the tire, submerge it into the tub and look for bubbles (signifies the source of the leak). else you can pour water over the tire and look (closely) for signed of bubbles forming.

1. You can patch it (which tire dealers frown upon since they'd recommend that you purchase another tire right away) if you're only using it for short trips, or
2. you can do what dealers recommend and purchase new tires (they usually recommend purchasing in pairs of 2 or 4 to ensure even grip on both sides).
3. if you're halfway during a trip, you may be interested in one of those tire foam products which temporarily seals the leak till your next repair

Or you may have driven over something hard (e.g. pot holes) and bent your rims. This may also cause tires to leak and eventually run flat. If that's the case, I wouldn't recommend bending it back unless the rims has sentimental value (assuming you're running OEM rims) - I'd say it's time for a new rim replacement (or even a set of new aftermarket rims) ;-)

Replacement tube may be more beneficial even though the fix/patch may be cheaper. If you live in an area that have varying climate, the patch along with the repaired tube can expand and contract and may cause small leak if not repaired properly.

Otherwise I would get the right size tube, most jogging strollers are either 12" or 16" tube inside and can be bought from your local bicycle store. With that, you'll need bicycle tire levers which can also be bought at the bike shop. Just about any type of tire levers will do. Of course I'm sure your bike shop can do this for you to possibly for free with a purchase of replacement tube!

there are shear bolts that hold the tines on. they are designed to snap when u hit something big such as a big rock or pipe or something like that. they are designed to snap at so much pounds of pressure so u dont break any gears or gearshafts. a lot of times people dont realize this and put regular screws or bolts in it and run it. when they hit something they ussually snap the gearshaft inside the tiller. i have replaced this on my fathers tiller cause he did the same thing. so either u might need to put new shear bolts in or if u had a regular bolt in u probably snapped a gear shaft or a gear.

to find the hole, try to fill the tire with air, and put it on a shallow water were it's enough for you to see the bumbles that come out from the tire.

to repair a flat tire, take out the interior of tire and if you happen to see the location of the hole try to find an unused rubber and cover the hole with that rubber and glue it with a quick drying glue... (this is a non-professional work)

Any bike shop will have patch equipment. You need to deflate the tire and remove it from the wheel. See if there is a tube inside the tire. If so, the fix is easy: either purchase a new tube for the tire, or get a patch. Use modelling glue on the patch then press it continually on the hole on the tire for about five minutes until it is dry. Afterwards, re-insert the tube into the tire, reattach the tire to the rim and pump it back up
