Screen off the nav screen is off and sometimes only shows logo,,i took the car for re-stitch the steering and once they fix the steering,,screen not working,please advice,tx

Chris, they had a few problems with Escalade nav,/radio usually expensive fix and sometimes doesn't last, a lot of people end up going aftermarket.

I have experienced many electical demons with all my British cars. The nav units can and do fail. I had a goofy one this summer and the only way it got fixed was to replace it. The module not the head unit

No solution, same problem, but had many strange moments: 4 months ago during 100 kms or so it stopped, then suddenly came back, and worked ever since. A few days ago, it started happening again: NAV stuck, then radio dead, and gradually the rest disappeared. I did a Reset, and since that moment I see the intro-screen and then it goes black. Hitting the TEL button is somehow also a Reset...

Do the previous 2 posters have anything to report on this matter? It would be VERY welcome!

I think the only thing you can do now is restore your iPhone to the factory setting. If I can chat with you then I can show you every steps. But you can check on the iPhone manual or just connect to iTune choose restore and do what it say on the screen. Good luck and hope this help ;)

Turn on your NAV screen and go into the info main menu in the Nav system. If no NAV refer to the drivers handbook, since you will sinc by using the voice command buttons on the steering wheel and the car will offer you prompts.
Click on telephone, settings, Bluetooth, ADD PHONE.
Then go into the menu for the Curve, tools , add devices,enable handsfree, search new device are the icons you need. You will need to authorize the Curve to accept a new device by entering a 4 digit pin code, which will show on the car`s screen. Once completed, the car will acknowledge the Curve in it`s screen

you need a new screen, as there quite tempermental. you should be able to gey a new one from ebay, as ive seen few for sale £100 - £250.

ok I fixed it....took out the sat nav and cleaned the lens with a cotton bud..WORKS!!!

when i turn sat nav on all i get is the evesham logo on screen

Complain to Tom Tom ,you may have a lemon,look for law suit soon
