There is some sort of debris on the adf scanner glass. Lift the lid and look at the small **** of glass on the left hand side. This is where the actual scanning occurs. Use some good window cleaner and a soft cloth to make sure that there is no glue, whiteout or other gunk on the glass. If the glass is scratched, then that **** glass needs to be replaced.
Try a nvram. While the printer is off, hold down the down arrow and the cancel button and turn the printer back on, hold down until permanent storage init is displayed on the lcd.

Generally, you could clean the document feed rollers with WD-40, or a platen cleaner, but better yet, you should replace the pads and feed roller and I think you could do it yourself with my roller kit:
