Here is a reference guide for the printer. Try eBay for a new pad if that or Epson doesn't work then contact a local printer repair shop and see if they will sell you the pad.
In the Adobe Doc look for the Assembly/ dis-Assembly instructions.

SOURCE: HI! This is the printer's

http://www.2manuals.com/reset_wip.php

so officially the ink pads are full and need to be changed. However try to find them available to get to change them and you will find that it will be impossible. Crazy for such a simple fix but they just don't sell them. so the above link will tell you about possibilities, and you can get the waste in k reset on epson's web site by putting in the serial number of your unit. The first thing you need to do it clear the printers problem and that can be solved easily. the second is that you can put in new pads if you can find them. here is how on a different model.

SOURCE: my printer is Epson L100

Epson printer is designed to stop working after number of copies. It needs resetting the waste counter. Just visit here www.epson-reset-utility.blogspot.com and download resettting software. There is no key required. Mine worked in seconds.

Service reqired The printer's ink pads are at the end of their service life. Please contact Epson support.

Not all the ink pulled from the ink-cartridges gets sprayed onto the paper.
Some of it ends-up in an absorbative pad.
Eventually, those pads get saturated with ink, and need to be "serviced".
Take the printer to any qualified computer-technician, for that servicing.
