How to restore a calculator in nokia - Nokia 5130 Cellular Phone

download calculator jar file connct yo phone and make sure its detected on the pc suite.then just double click on the file and walla: its installed to the phone

Nokia 2700 does develop software fault like these....similar to nokia 7210 supernova in which music player dissapears on its own......

if u try to update set software thru nokia suit.....nokia suit first reads ur set and its settings...stores them.....downloads new firmware.... writes it in ur phone....then loads the settings of ur phone as it has previously stored....hence if there was no calculator before updating....it will remove calculator from ur phone after updating....therefore updating software from nokia ovi will not help.......u may follow the following procedure


u have to get ur set flashed....i.e. set software reloaded....this will delete all ur phone data permanently. Only sim and memory card data will remain intact. Get it done by a service guy or thru boxe as under


these boxes are costly .purchasing them for one or two sets is not recomended.

second option that u have is to download calculator application from Nokia OVI or other third party sites likt...getjar.com......www.mobile9.com.....www.mobileline.com

The inbuilt calculator should be in the organizer. It's kind of strange that the calculator is missing because you can't delete or move this application. Try a reset by typing *#7780# and the password is 12345. The other option is is firmware update using a PC Suite.

Factory restore of the phone. on the menu go to phone options, then security options. Select factory restore. You will be asked for a security code which is 12345 if it was never changed from factory setup.

Hi dear, hop u removed the battery without shutting down the mobile do to that data's wil be corrupted.
solutions:

1.Restoring wil fix this (To restore type(dial) *7780# and give ur security code(Default:12345))

2.Download Calculator apps from "www.getjar.com" itz is free there..!

3.update your mobile software.

the same things was mine with this problem. I've used the phone w/out any problem at couple of months since I purchased it. then suddenly one day when I checked my application, my calculator disappeared. then what i do is to download a calculator software to replace it. but as days passes by, more problems occur and all of the files installed on my phone that was already there since purchased are all gone and when I will play radio or music, "not enouch memory" appear on the screen and I can't play any music anymore until it hanged and I cannot use the phone anymore.
