SOURCE: Kenmore two way tumble action washing machine - shakes, vibrates very loud

sounds like you have a broken stantion on the back of the basket.you can confirm this by opening the door and trying to pull up on the stainless steel basket.if it pushes up and flops back down, that is what you have.if the mach is over 2yrs old, look in your manual under warranty.if it has a 10yr on stainless steel basket and lifetime on tub,you will only have to pay for labor on repair.if it only has 1yr on entire mach, est would be higher than the price of a new one.

I had the same problem. The "fire alarm" sound is coming from the silver panel behind your washer. The panel is vibrating loudly during the wash cycle. A Sears repairman solved this by taking a small piece of cardboard (cut from a box) and wedging it between the side edge of the panel. He operated the washer's cycle and adjusted the tightness of the wedge until the loud sound stopped. It did! Hope this helps you!

"F06" is a Motor Speed error. The following link explains how to troubleshoot and some common causes:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r714929-f06_error_whirlpool_duet_kenmore_elite

The first step to troublehsooting should be to unplug the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that it takes to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code reappears following a computer reset, follow the advice given in the link I provided.

If you have questions, or require additional assistanc, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: vibration on second floor laundry

Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that...
1. They are there and mount is solid.
2. If they are broken in 1/2.
3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken.
4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.

Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.

Replace/repair as necessary.

IF THIS IS A BRAND NEW INSTALLATION - be sure you hav removed the basket shipping pins (4) that secure the tub during shipping.

Hi, I have a Kenmore quietquard dishwasher model number 587.14012406a and it's making a loud noise throughout the wash it then stops and then restarts which is a vibrating noise and is extremely loud!

suggestion, i suspect you have got something in the wash pump or the pump impeller is breaking up this can cause a vibrating noise or it could be the rince pump.

Loud vibration

If it is a frost free check the fan inside. The fans can have bearing failure after a few years thus causing the vibration. Also the compressor underneath is mounted on rubber vibration dampers and if one of these rubber mounts fail then the compressor will start vibrating against the refrigerator frame causing a loud vibration. If none of these apply gently press on the side and front panel of the refrigerator to try and locate the source of the vibration as any where metal is vibrating against metal the side and front panel act as a sounding board amplifying the sound. If you cant locate the vibration then you may have a more serious problem and may need to call a technician.

Sounds like you need a new water valve (some debris inside the valve causing it to not fully close). These are availible from your local appliance parts store or on line from the manufacture. Once you have your replacement, just take the #20 torx screws out of the top panel and remove it. Your valve should be on the back left hand side.
