Model PLHS267ZA ice maker does not fill with water. Water dispenses from door ok. Frozen inlet? How can I cycle the ice maker to try to fill with water?

Thank you for your inquiry, friend!

Based off what you have described your Frigidaire refrigerator's icemaker is not filling with water and it is still dispensing from the door. Sometimes if the filter is bad water may still dispense but will not make ice. It is recommended to change out the water filter every six to nine months.

You can also pull the refrigerator out from the wall and check the fill tube to make sure it is not frozen. The fill tube is a green line that connects to the upper right corner of your refrigerator. Make sure to turn off the water before checking the line. You should be able to grab the line and twist 45 degrees counter clockwise to pull the tube out. Check and make sure no ice has formed, if ice has built up inside of the line hold the tube in your hand for three to five minutes to loosen it out and remove it. To reinstall the tube insert it back and twist it 45 degrees clockwise. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

Water does not drain from dispenser into tub/drum fast enough

pull out the dispenser, check inside where the dispenser goes into,i found in two washers the white circle piece that's inside the cap to detergent, when water would go in the cap would block the fill tube,if you checked the dispenser and water flows through you have something blocking the fill tube, hopefully the washer and dryer are not stacked, you might have to take the top lid off to get at the fill tube or fill hose to clear it.good luck with your washer

Water dispenser stop working

For water not dispensing problem:----------

There possibility is ice blockage in the water fill tube. There is a tube from which the water runs and enters the water dispenser. If this tube is blocked then water will not flow, when you depress the water dispenser paddle. The tube needs to be defrosted, by using hair dryer. This procedure melts the ice collected in the tube and water starts running again. But if water fill tube is completely clear and no ice blockage or any other blockage. Then other possibility is water valve .This water valve is for letting the water. The main water valve the back of the fridge section. This main valve lets the water enter the refrigerator. This water valve is a twin valve. This valve has two tubes in it.One for water dispenser and one for ice maker chamber. The one side of valve is working, but other side of the valve is not working. The valve is got stuck in one position, so ice maker side is working, but water dispenser side is not working.--------

The valve is not a costly part and can be easily replaced.-----------------

then You can get required parts from online sites like: --- www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site.

----------- This should help. Thanks.Helpmech.

My water tube fot the ice maker keeps freezing up and now it has come out ?

There is a fix for that now! If u have a dispenser model you will need a "fill tube heater kit" and if it's a non dispenser you will need a "slotted fill tube".

My LG Washer 0642h doesn't always dispense the bleach. I notice that the dispenser fills up with water and doesn't empty. I have to empty it in the next wash. The dispenser doesn't appear to be clogged.

If the dispenser comes with a siphon tube, it is always this tube that is clogged. When the dispenser receives water from the machine, it fills up, the water/softener mix starts to go through the tube, at first by just draining because it has sufficient head, and then as the dispenser gets lower, siphon action in the tube takes place. . This tube must be clear for this dispenser to work.

Whirlpool GR2FHTXVQ00 fridge. Water dispenser

The water inlet valve on the back of the unit where the water supply comes in can have a slow leak and will cause ice to buildup and block the fill tube. Disconnect the ice maker line from the valve and watch to see if it has a slow drip. It doesn’t take much to eventually block the fill tube.
The valve can leak because of sediment in the water preventing it from closing or low water pressure.

You can thaw out the fill tube and replace the inlet valves.

Water in the bleach dispenser

The bleach dispenser is a syphon system. When you put in the bleach , it fills the reservoir to a point just below the syphon point. Your bleach tray has a tube attached to it, with a loose cap around the tube that causes the bleach to be delivered to the washload when the water is added. Remove the cap over the tube in your bleach tray. You'll also note a similar arrangement for your softener dispenser. Clean both caps and tubes. Make sure that the caps fit properly back down over the tubes. The syphoning effect will work only up to the point that the circuit is broken by air. If your cap sits up too high, the syphon effect is broken early, leaving residue (water) in the dispenser.
