Tried opening quickbooks and got error Exception E OLEsys error what to do
SOURCE: QuickBooks has experienced an error on startup
Step one is run scandisk. If you have a cross linked or corrupted file it will sort that out automactically. Step 2 is to google "where is the quickbooks repair feature".....odds are someone has used it before. Step 3.....save your Quickbooks database (in at least two places) and delete and reinstall Quickbooks if all else fails.

1. Do you have a backup of your quickbooks from before this started happening? If yes, try opening the backed up quickbooks file.
2. Uninstall Quickbooks 2009 completely, then reinstall it and check of updates and install all of them, then try it again.
If the problem persists, please let me know so I can continue to help you. These are the first two things to try and would be the easiest solution.

Try this:
Open the Program Compatibility troubleshooter by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then clickTroubleshooting. Under Programs, click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows. Follow the instructions in the troubleshooter. If you cannot install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the troubleshooter, browse to the program's setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. The troubleshooter is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.
