Have you noted that the Safari application must be completely shut down prior to clearing any history, cache, cookies, etc.
If you are unsure how to do this, visit (Apple Site) : How to kill iPad/iPhone appstutorial.
( If that don't work. Please post a new question. And we'll try something else!).

When I open my google it shows sites that I have visited how can I remove them?

Try clearing your browsing history. Open up your Settings on your iPad, click Safari, then Clear History. This will wipe out your iPads previous knowledge of any sites you've visited.

To prevent them from listing moving forward, you can use private browsing. If you're using iOS 7, you can access it by opening Safari, hitting the + button near the bottom of the page, and hitting Private in the left hand corner. It'll ask you if you want to keep or close your currently open tabs after that.

Hope this helps!
