I accidently erased the network connection from my WT4090-N2S0GER. This is a Win CE Motorola wrist scanner. I need to either restore the connection, or restore to an earlier time, 3 hours ago or create a...

Restoring to an earlier time is your best bet. Unless you have a manual or guide for restoring the connection, this will prove to be time consuming. Save any changes made to files and restore your computer for the best results.

I cant reprogram the scanner. It is only in channel 6

To restore normal operation, try RESETTING the scanner:
- Power the scanner OFF, then power it ON again.
- Insert a pointed object, just as the end of a paperclip, into the RESET opening on the side of the scanner, then push the small button inside the opening.
-
In many cases, the RESET will restore operation. If not, you'll need to perform the more drastic INITIALIZE process. NOTE: INITIALIZE will erase all information that you've programmed into the scanner and restore it to original factory settings. To INITIALIZE the scanner:
- Power the scanner OFF, then power it ON again.
- While holding sown the TUNE/CLEAR key, press the RESET button as above. The scanner display should shut off.
- When the display turn on again, release the TUNE/CLEAR key.

I have pro 135 from radio shack. How do I reset it and keep the channels that are programed in it?

The RESET function will clear everything that you have programmed into the scanner and restore original factory settings. You can, however, restore the 150 pre-programmed frequencies after a RESET.

To RESET:
- Power the scanner OFF.
- Hold down the 2, 9, and PSE keys and power the scanner ON.
- CLEAr appears on the display as the scanner resets.
- Do not power the scanner OFF until CLEAr disappears from the display.

To restore the original 150 pre-programmed frequencies:
- Turn the scanner power OFF.
- Hold down the 3 and ENT/PGM keys and power the scanner ON.

I have a radio shack pro 94 scanner that gets stuck in the high channels. How can I make it scan to other channels

Getting "stuck" indicates that the scanner may need to be reset to restore proper operation. This is a fairly drastic step that will erase ALL information that you've programmed into the scanner, but it's about the only fix. To reset the PRO-94:

- Turn the scanner OFF

- While holding down the 2 and 9 keys, power the scanner ON.

- CLEAR will flash for about 5 seconds as the scanners clears its memory and restores factory settings. Do not turn the scanner OFF or press any keys until the CLEAR message stops flashing.

I've been using my 5300C scanner with Windows XP for years. Now, all of a sudden, my computer can't find it. My scanner is connected. I tried re-installing the scanner software but my computer tells me...

Most likely your scanner was put offline by a microsoft update. Mine was knocked out of business by a hardware driver update downloaded from microsoft update.

Try to roll back the scanner driver (my computer, system, hardware select scanner, properties, rollback driver to prior version) or go to your system restore function and do a restore to a earlier date when you know the scanner was working and see if that fixes it.

Worked for me. Windows XP pro

Scanner portion

The easiest thing to do is a system restore; it will restore all of your computers settings to a point before the software was changed. Go to start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.

Folow the onscreen prompts and select a day prior to the day the scanner stopped working. It will reboot, then restore. Then your computer should be just like it was.
