Jam in duplex area

Its is trick..If its more then two pages print, printer grabs second page even first page in duplex unit., here its confusion. Check with simplex single print, see any paper mismatch error? or printer throwing paper in output bin after successful print?. No.. check fuser out sensor or paper out roller.
Print only two pages matter in duplex, check where paper struck? if paper our roller not grabbing paper back properly in time (slipping while grabbing back) gets jam error.
Always ensure that select proper paper size in printer.Other than this it may major issue, need technical knowledge..& possibilities are less to judge the exact problem..
Keep update us to resolve the issue.

Duplex printing not happening

Hi,

In your printer model duplex printing is not supported. But it can be achieved using the manual duplex printing option. In the printer properties select the type of duplex printing you want to take and click on print. Once the printing got over on one side of the papers, then you will be prompted to turn the whole printed paper bundle and keep in the tray again and continue the printing. Now by this way duplex printing is done in your printer model.

I hope this is useful to you.
Please rate the solution provided.
Thanks

How do I print on both sides of the paper from my desk top. I have 107 pages to print from an email, and I want to use both sides.

You will need to select the duplex option in the print options before you print. If you don't have the option you can manually do it but it will take a while to print out each page. You can also buy a duplex unit for the printer.

LaserJet 5MPHP

Only if you print the first side then place the paper back into the printer to do the second side. Also referred to as manual duplexing. This printer has no automatic duplexing option.
Also keep in mind that the percentage of duplex prints you do should be very low as this printer has no method of cleaning the fusing unit as most printers do that are made for duplexing. The industry standard is 2% or less should be duplexed.

How do i get an hp laserjet 4550n duplex to work ?

duplex printing in your model is optional im afraid

for the ff model pls see:

HP 4550 / 45500N: Optional
HP 4550DN / 4550HDN: Yes

unless otherwise that you have the duplexer installed and the selection from your properties selected like what you said, then there is no reason why this would not print back to back

keep inspecting your unit pls

cheers
