My food processor blade keeps popping up (loose) when I put food into it.

I can hear the locking of the blade, but once I put food in there, the blade raises a little and it makes the sound but it doesn't turn.

You will probably need to replace the sleeve on the motor shaft and the blade. If overloaded the shaft can spin inside the blade which wrecks the connection between them. Replacing both together is the correct solution.

SOURCE: I have a kitchen aid food processor, it is on, but motor doess no

This sounds like an issue relating with the assembly of the machine. The motor is definitely getting power if the indicator is lit. However, Kitchenaid food processors are designed (as a safety feature) to remain unengaged if the unit is not assembled in such a way. Here is the proper assembly:

Please disassemble the unit. This means: removing the blade, removing the work bowl, the work bowl cover, and unplugging the unit.

Starting with the work bowl: place the handle at the 9 o'clock position, which is out to the left. Rotate downward to the 6 o'clock position until it locks in, centered over the button panel.

Repeat the process with the work bowl lid.

Depending on which food processor you have, you may need the feed tube pusher depressed at least half way down the feed tube.

Plug in the unit. The blade does not have be installed for unit it to work at this point, assuming everything is assembled properly and the motor is functioning. The motor should now be working.

I posted about this somewhere else. Sounds simple but it worked for me. Give the spindle a good whack with a wooden spoon all the way around and it will come loose.

SOURCE: attachment stuck on shaft of food processor

put the mixing bowl up as much as possible. spray some wd40 into the groove between the attachement and the motor shaft. Wait for several minutes, then with a hammer and a piece of wood, give the bowl a good wack. With a few goes, it will gradually come off. I will be putting some butter inside the attachement from now on to keep it lubricated

Hi!
Check the power source or the plug. It might be that the power source is not stable or check the plug if it has loosened or not. Or, check if your wife has something too hard processed inside esp. ice cubes (as she may need to pound it into smaller pieces). Also, let her try to adjust the mode.
Hope it helps.

Does anyone need parts for GE food processor (model # 106622F)?

Put the parts on eBay.

When you list leave out the word 'model' and the hashtag # as they are irrelevant. Less words is better.

My blade is stuck in my Black and Decker food processor and won’t come out. What can I do?

Hi, first and most importantly.... do NOT put your hand in there, set it up, switch it on, hopefully the blade will rotate.. then stop it and check if the blade will come loose on its own. This happened to me, and thats what worked. I had to do it a few times though, good luck!

Crusiart 14 cup food processor. No power worked once for about 10 seconds. Changed blade and no power.

Are you certain that your blade is seated properly and the top is locked in place?

I have the 14-Cup Cuisinart Elite Collection Food Processor. Up until recently it was working fine. Recently when using the shredder blade, when I insert food into the feeding tube the blade stops...

If the unit works OK with other attachments and the problem is only with the one cup; then the blade may be loose and spins on the shaft, the connection gear under the bottom is worn or binding up. Debris is stuck around the blade shaft or from heating up the metal parts expanded and bind when turning.

I used the shredding blade and now can't get the inside spindle to pop off or the bowl. It will still work if I put the blade in and turn it on. How can I get the spindle and bowl loose?

Cuisinart DLC-7--blade stuck--cannot remove from bowl.

First off, is it a BLADE that's stuck, or a DISC?
If it's a disc, and the disc is blocking your access to the center post, put a ziploc baggie full of ice on top of the disc (right in the middle) and let it sit for about half an hour. That should shrink the plastic enough to pop it out.

If it's a blade, you can try the ice trick, or you can try Pam (or another food grade cooking spray) to loosen it up, and then just try to take the workbowl off like you usually would (aka, DO NOT grab the blade, or you'll risk cutting yourself--you can just pull up on the bowl, and the blade should pop off.

If you need further help, you can always contact Cuisinart--their phone number (according to their website, www.cuisinart.com ) is 1 800 726 0190

Good luck! :)

Im not sure how to use the attachments for my moulinex masterchef vitasum food processor and how to use them when your making a cake.

Visit this link and fill in the details:
https://www.2instructions.com/search.php?cmarque=MOULINEX&modele=MASTER%20CHEF%20VITASUN
Basically it should be as simple as putting a disc or if making a cake with most food processors, using the universal steel blade attachment by dropping it into the jug and turning to lock. Some machines only need the blade tool to just be dropped in. Then put the ingredients in, fit the top lid until it locks, put the feeder tube in to minimise leaks/spills and then turn on.

We can`t disasemble it with the dough blade in, any tips?

All of the blades "lock" (rest in a groove) when rotated clockwise. This is so they'll stay put when in operation. When you take the bowl out with a blade in, you're moving the pair in a clockwise direction. So, you lock the blade in, thus locking the bowl down. Either remove the blade first by rotating it counter clockwise, then up or move the blade back 1/10th of a turn after rotating the bowl as far as it will go clockwise.
