I need to turn off private browsing to get into my yahoo account. I have followed instructions--settings, safari-- dead end. Been told to press 'pages'bottom right hand corner, but this isn't there. HE

Step 1: Open Safari on your iPhone/iPad
Step 2: Tap on the tab icon (bottom left). This shows you the tabs that are open (in the new rolodex style) 72c761aa-0c49-4247-8164-d7dba95926c6.jpg

Why does my password appear automatically when i signed up for yahoo mail? how will i disabled it?

You may unintentionally allowed the browser to remember your password on that particular computer when you first login your account.

If you are using IE browser, you can click Tools >> Internet Options >> General tab. Click Delete under browsing history and click Delete forms and Delete passwords.

If you are using Firefox,
  1. At the top of the Firefox windowOn the menu bar, click on the ToolsFirefoxEdit menu, and select Options...Preferences....
  2. Select the Privacy panel.
  3. If Always clear my private data when I close Firefox is not selected, your Firefox is not set to clear your passwords when you close it. You can skip to the next section.
  4. If Always clear my private data when I close Firefox is selected, click on the Settings... button.
  5. Make sure that Saved Passwords is not check marked.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK to close the Options windowClick Close to close the Preferences windowClose the Preferences window.
Hope this helps.

I updated my Firefox and I can no longer long into my Yahoo account. I get into the login screen, enter my info and then just get returned to the login screen.

We may need to clear the browsing history and all cookies on your Firefox to correct the problem. To do that follow this steps and once you're done with it restart Firefox and try to log in to your Yahoo email and that should be working now.

Follow this steps: Clear including the History and Cookies:
1. Select "Tools"
2. Select "Options".
3. Select "Privacy".
4. In Private area click "Clear Now".
5. In "Clear Private Data" window put the check mark for "Cookies" and click "Clear Private Data Now".
6. Click OK.
