Hi, this sound like the same fault as i had, our tv only had half the screen go off also, the right side, after looking up on the internet i found a video for a fix, what you need to do is remove the back cover, there will be ribbons that go from the front screen to the main panel, i removed each one at a time and rubbed the contacts of the ribbon with a rubber on the end of a pencil, plugged them all back in and switched it on and it was now spot on, thats more than a year ago and its still working spot on, hope this helps

SOURCE: ln55c650 keeps flashing bright to

I had the same issue occur on my ln55c650 (screen flickering, not the actual image but the front lights flashed which was too distracting) and they had to replace the power supply pc-board. Seems some issue with power module in the TV rather than the side panels. Luckily for me, TV was still in warranty.

Samsung UN60J6200AFXZA TV replaced leds. Main board, T-con board, or display panel. Please advise

If you have already replaced the LEDs in your Samsung UN60J6200AFXZA TV and are still experiencing issues, it is possible that the problem is with one of the other components you mentioned, such as the main board, T-con board, or display panel. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the connections between the main board, T-con board, and display panel. Make sure that all of the connectors are properly seated and that there are no loose or damaged wires.
  2. Check the main board and T-con board for any visible damage or issues. Make sure that there are no burned or damaged components.
  3. Check the display panel for any visible defects or issues. Make sure that it is properly seated and that there are no cracks or other damage.
If you are unable to identify the cause of the issue on your own, it is recommended to contact a professional for further assistance in diagnosing and repairing the problem. They will have the tools and knowledge necessary to properly troubleshoot and repair your TV

Hi,

It could be that the motor for the device needs to "warm up". Everytime it stops the internal thermostat sees that the target temperature has not been reached so it starts the internal motor again. This happens in a cycle until the motor gets warmed up or the target temperature is reached. This is my hypothesis. So, you might need to get the devices's motor checked out. Thank you.

Picture dimmed. can see the picture and in menu increased the backlight to max but did not go back to normal. checked eco settings and did factory reset. still very dim but can see the picture.

Yah kindly follow this tip. After loosing the back cover when the tv power cord is removed from power socket, check for bulged or defect power capacitors in both the primary & secondary side of the power pack if found any kindly replace it with the actual or equivalent value as this electrolytic capacitor defects is much common for Samsung power packs

Intermittent change of resolution.

Sounds like nothing more than a tcon cable connection. I would try unplugging then plugging the cable connection to the tcon and also the two upper tcon cables that are located under the Tcons metal cover.

there is a evaporator defrosting problem; ice building-up. the evap fan is mounted right on top of the evap coil. this will get progressively worse; and, the fan will get completely jammed with ice; and stop altogether. your fridge will get warm and the freezer will not cool properly. you should get it looked at asap..

My monitor goes dim after a few minutes. When you switch it off and on again the dsplay is ok then becomes so dark

Hello,

How dim is dim? If the picture is still visible just like half as bright then your have backlight tube problem and unit LCD needs to be replaced, not worth repair price. If the picture goes out almost to a black screen where you can just bairly see a faint image then you hold the screen just right then you have a backlight inverter issue. If the problem is the inverter then you should be able to replace a few parts and get your unit back going. If you think you can open the unit up and maybe solder a few parts then I would open the case and look for bad capacitors on the power supply board. I can send you pictures of what to look for if you are interested. We also have a repair service for those units, most power issues run $15.00 plus shipping. Let me know if you need help opening the unit and checking parts.
