Where can I find a lamp for kp-65ws500 - Sony KP-51HW40 51" Rear Projection Television

Sounds like a Cathod Short in the red CRT. May also be a CRT Board or a Video Chip heating up. To check for heat problems I use a canned agent called freeze spray. You can spray it on the boards and if the problem quits, the problem is in that board, then isolate it to a component ( transistor, chip capacitor etc). Good luck

The 2 chips are on a large metal heat sink near the back of the tv. They will be on the opposite side and will have stamped on them (example) STK392-560. You may also have a blown pico fuse (look like a solid colored resistor part number on board will be like (example) ps8001, you'll need a meter to check if any are open or not most times they are.
