The Chromebook has a wireless network interface.
So, it does not connect to your computer.
Instead, it connects to your wireless router.
If you do not remember that password for your wireless network,
you need to "reset" your router to its "factory-settings", and then recreate the name of your wireless network, and enter a new password, to define it.

SOURCE: cannot connect to internet thru ethernet jack on computer

It could be. Check your Device Manager and make sure the device isn't disabled. Also each adapter has its own TCP/IP settings so make sure yours on your ethernet adapter are set the same as your USB adapter that is working. If it does turn out to be bad you can always add a new ethernet card for cheap.

Use a Display port-to-DVI cable. Connect the small plug at one end of the cable to the Display port on the side panel of the computer. Connect the large plug vat the other end of the cable to the DVI port on the back of the monitor.
Turn the computer on. Open the display settings window and select which screen you want - computer screen, external monitor screen, or both.

My Chromebook netbook won't connect to my home wifi

That is weird. Does the Chromebook see the wireless router? I just looked on Google's Chromebook website and it says that the Chromebook works with any security setting. What type of Wifi router do you have at home?
This is the Google page talking about Wifi connection issues.

HP Officejet Pro L7650

The problem could be your web browser and its settings. You can try using another computer, or another browser. If you are using Internet Explorer, dry downloadingFirefox and accessing the router again. Hope this helps. Can you tell me which Internet Service Provider having you use. If your physical connectivity is pour or every minute or while reconnect your physical connectivity then your router also reconnect your ISP so router ask you password conformation for that.

If you using DSL connection then you do first that check your telephone wire physical connectivity and also if you have multimeter than check telephone wire voltage if is not stable than your telephone connectivitiy is pour so called telephone mechenic for that.

if everything is ok than ask your router company.

I AM UNABLE TO ACCESS INTERNET THRU MY HYBRID APPLE MAC DESK TOP-

Go into network set up a shared Internet connection using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) You can use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) to share an Internet connection among two or more computers on a network. First, you need one computer, called the host computer, that is connected to the Internet and that has a separate connection to the other computers on your network. You enable ICS on the Internet connection. The other computers on your network then connect to the host computer, and from there to the Internet through the host computer's shared Internet connection.
If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might prevent you from completing these steps.
On the host computer (the computer whose Internet connection you plan to share):
  1. ?id=microsoft.windows.resources.shellexecutetopiciconClick to open Network Connections.
  2. Right-click the connection that you want to share, and then click Properties.getcontent.aspx?assetid=18abb370-ac1e-4b6b-b663-e028a75bf05b&documentset=en-us&renderkey=signed1 If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  3. Click the Sharing tab, and then select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box.

Hooking up a second computer

If your HP computer is connected with a wire to the router, you don't need to run or install the setup CD of the router you just need to connect the HP computer to the router with an ethernet cable and restart the HP computer and internet should already be working fine, But if your Hp computer is going to work wirelessly with the router meaning the HP will not be connected with a wire to the router, You just need to connect to the wireless network of your router if your not familiar with that I will advice you to call Linksys tech support so one of their tech can walk you through with that process they are open 24/7 this is the number 800-3267114.........

Hope that helps............
