Betty, if you suggesting the machine is out of balance/ causing the machine to jump around in spin cycle
1. it may be due to a heavy wet load ,like towels unbalancing the machine, try less load or slower spin ,then fast spin
2. could be concrete balancing block inside machine has come loose, both problems causing a unbalancing affect on the spin cycle.

It stops spinning because the load is unbalanced. It will cycle over and over until the load is even then it will kick into a faster spin. Unbalanced loads could be due to too many items in the washer of a stabilizer problem in the hardware of the machine,
Turn power on. Without selecting a cycle, push the spin speed button to select the spin speed you desire. (if you had an unbalanced load, I'd suggest a low spin speed. You can repeat after with the next higher speed if desired) Push start.
