You need to replace the heater element located at the bottom rear of drum.
Remove lower rear panel to gain access to it.

the pump filter is blocked you need to pull the washer out and tilt back the door should open but there will be water in it unblock the filter should be ok

normally i would suggest changing motor carbons for hotpoint washers, but my experience is that the WMA motor armature is weaker than the carbons, normally if there is no connection fault a replacement motor is the answer 9 times out of 10, not a job for the amature

you need to check/clear filter, its located within sump hose @ bottom of drum quite trickey clip to remove slide it to the side to assist then withdraw nylon filter and clear.
