How and where do i put new batteries in my remote control

You should not have to reprogram the remote. The programming is stored in Non-volatile ram.

have you checked the polarity one the new batteries you installed? (flip the batttery updside down)

Just put in new batteries and see if that fixes it. If that does not help, you need a new remote control.

Remove the Battery cover on the back of the remote. Remove the dead batteries. Put them in recycling Open the new batteries and install them paying attention to polarity. Replace battery cover

you need to clean your remote with alcohol.open the remote and clean it with white alcohol,that should do it if not buy a new remote.you can probably get one at partstore.com..good luck.

Hi. Easy solution! update the firmware on the remote:
1. connect the remote to your computer 2, open the software 3. click "Dowloads" at the top 4. click "Firmware" 5. update the remote
voila! fixed.

First off, put in brand new batteries. Not just batteries that are kind of new, i mean BRAND SPANKING NEW batteries right out of the packet.

If you still have a problem:

~hold down the DVD-VCR button-> the red led will stay lit.

~holding down the DVD-VCR button press the number 2 --> the red led will turn off

~Release the DVD-VCR button--> the red led blinks 4 times and turns off.
