An easy fix for a broken phone can only be a new screen. Get your iPhone's screen replaced in an apple repair centre. You can always try getting your phone fixed at http://www.iservicescentre.com/

SOURCE: cracked touch screen

You can replace the screen yourself, or have a company replace the screen for you. If you are patient and handy with tools, I would purchase a new crystal screen (just the screen without the LCD\Digitizer), and replace it yourself. If you order from a company, this will cost you almost $200USD. There are tips online on how to replace the screen yourself with a plexiglass screen, but I'm assuming you don't want to do this.

SOURCE: Broken touch screen.

The screen can be replaced by a tech savy user and the part is available on common auction websites. There are iPhone Repair guides that show you how to do the replacement with a series of pictures and written descriptions of the necessary steps.

SOURCE: broken glass touch screen to iPhone

It's a broken digitizer. Take it to the apple store. If they won't help you, You can try to replace the part yourself, it is available on any auction website (iPhone 4G digitizer/LCD assembly). There is an iPhone 4G Repair service that can fix it for you, but if you're a little tech savy you should use an iPhone 4G repair guide that teaches you how to do the repair yourself.

My iPhone 5s was damaged when combination lock fell on top of it and cracked the screen. What should I do?

Plug your iPhone 5S into your computer via the USB cable, and as you open iTunes, press and hold both the top sleep button and the home screen button. When you see the Apple logo, release the top button, and then the home button. Supposedly this is some kind of way to access the iphone for software or something. I think that's the order I did.
Anyway, I did this and it forced a reboot on my phone. Then it booted up normally. Nothing was erased for me. I had a recent full backup just in case.
If the problem is still not solved you can take it to apple store or get a iPhone 5s lcd touch screen assembly and then replace the broken one.

Broken iphone screen

There WAS A YOUTUBE video on how to do this as I bought an iPhone off ebay with cracked front and back. I was able to replace the back because that was fairly simple, but the parts are very small and you need a special tool to even take it apart. Replacing the front didn't look so easy. You pretty much have to take the phone apart which would be the easy part, but you'd have to remember what cables plugged in where and what screws of different sizes went where. You're better off taking it to a place that does this repair often!

Replace glass

Four possible solutions
1. Remove the Sim Card & Throw the phone away in a recycle bin.
2. Cover the glass with a new screen protector & ignore crack.
3. Take the iPhone into an Apple centre & pay a modest fee to get the next model up (4s) which fixes the problem & gets you better technology.
4. Get a new glass & replace it yourself. Parts & repair guides are numerous on the net. eg. See www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhgvXO1wXfw
It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who bust their Smartphones. Some even regularly.
My son-in-law has dropped 2 in the water while fishing and he should know better as he is a radio technician.
You need to treat this amazing modern technology with respect!
Personally.... I have never broken any of the iPhones I have owned since 2007 and I change phones every 2 years & my wife gets the older technology. So thats 7 years & 4 iPhones!
Perhaps its because, over the years, I have repaired so many electronic/electrical devices.
I do have my phone on me all the time (except when fishing & diving etc) in some pretty harsh environments (e.g. fixing cars & prospecting in outback &... I have chipped the edge of one phone).
I have a respect for my expensive technology and that it has a large flat glass area that pressure or knocks can break. I just take 5 seconds to think ahead as to where I will be using it & I keep a silicone cover & screen protector on it at all times. I move it from my top shirt pocket to my front jeans pocket if bending etc. and the screen always stays on my body side while in the pocket.

My iphone 3G fell face down really hard but had its bumper on so the screen didnt crack but it's just showing lines now and its a black screen. can anything be done to salvage the situation?

Hi Hiorbamy,
You might have just busted the screen. If so, you might be able to fix it for just under $26.00.
Step 1) Take the broken iPhone 3G to your nearest Apple Store and ask a Genius to confirm wether the iPhone is salvageable by simply replacing the screen. After the diagnosis, thank the Apple Genius, and leave.
Step 2) If the Apple Genius has confirmed that the problem is JUST the screen, order a spare one online. You can find the very easily by doing a simple Google Search for: "Pre-Installed Apple 3G Screen". You can find them for arround $25-$30
Step 3) Install the new iPhone screen by following the instructions that came with the replacement iPhone Screen.
