As far as I am aware you will have set the pattern lock.. It's usually a four digit code that you need to input by sliding your finger across a digital pad WITHOUT removing the finger from the pad until you've finished. If you can't remember the code try some possibles, remembering that you probably have a limited number of attempts before itr locks up you could also try settings on the android.
The manufacturer does not cover accidental damage, but they have instituted a program where you can turn your tablet with a cracked screen in (as long as you are still within your warranty period. The nice thing about this is that not only are they doing the least expensive route when you crack your screen, but you do not have to wait for repairs. They simply send a replacement once they receive your damaged one.
Drag your finger down from the top to get the Quick Menu icons along to top of the screen.
Top LEFT of the Quick Menu is a Circle icon. Tap it to turn on/off the Screen rotation lock.
(If 1 finger does not work then use two fingers. You have turned on Accessibilty. Go to Settings / Accessibility to turn on/off)
I had this same problem. There could be a few reasons. Starting with the simplest: Finger placement; sometimes your fingers may wrap around and touch the screen while using it causing the proximity sensor to turn the display off. Screen protectors; I got lucky because my problem was being caused by the screen protector i was using. It had come off a bit in my pocket and gotten scratched on the part that touches the screen which messed up with the proximity sensor. All i had to do was take off the protector and the problem was fixed. Sensor Malfunction; The proximity sensor in the phone is malfunctioning and you can try to hard reset the phone but usually if it is malfunctioning you just need to get it fixed or replace the phone. If your phone is still under warranty you should probably use it.
there is one option that you have tak back-up your data then run recovery disk that is only solution becoz touch screen and finger print software is realy delicate things dont try to paly with if don't have to downlod drivers from the HP site
