What does code fo5 mean - Vector Black And Decker High Frequency Automatic Battery Charger

Are you sure of that code? F (zero five) is Upper Thread. The manual doesn't show F letter Oh 5.

Fo5 error code is the soap tray.. open and close it or check the switch on it.. debris will make it stick..

F05 code is a water temperature sensor problem, It may be a broken wire at the plug for the heater, I'd recommend removing the back panel there is a plug (2 black wires) if i remember correctly ,one wire was just hanging there, board picks up on that causing sensor code, cut the plug in half and joined wire directly to heater terminal

If this is a Whirlpool model the FO5 error code means:

Water Temperature Sensor Error

If during the water heating step in the wash cycle, the water temperature sensor

(NTC) value is out of range, or the heating element circuit has failed, the "F/05" error

code will be displayed.

Potential Causes

• Check the Water Temperature Sensor, Heating Element and Element Relay

• Check connections to the Sensor, Heating Element and Relay

Hello,F05 means that the pump is not getting rid of the water.
You to locate and clean the filter, and or check the pump for a blockage or restriction.

Fo5 indicates pressure switch jammed on full.
To rectify the problem, do the following.
Remove lower rear panel of washer.
Remove large black hose from bottom of drum
Remove and clean plastic filter inside hose.
Remove hose from pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well .

f05 is normally a fault cause by the pressure switch - often caused by a blockage in the exit hose of the washer. if the water cannot leave the washer in time the f05 will come up because the pressure switch has not told the machine it empty. on hotpoints there is a filter inside the exit pipe from the drum to the pump which gets blocked up. need to remove and clear out the sump assembly and this normally fixes the f05 error. if this does not cure the issue then the pressure switch is probably faulty but its notmally just a blocked pipe.

FO5 means pressure switch (9 water level switch) jammed on full.
Check pump filter and pump for possible blockage.
Pump and filter to be found at rear bottom right of washer, remove panel to gain access.
