Check and replace it power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at it main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

E390-A1 with a cracked screen,upper right corner can see menu options on bottom, worth trying to replace screen?
not at all. Vizio doesnt even sell parts. Vizio is one of the lowest quality TVs on the market. I had a 55" that had a bad panel after 1 year.

Hook up dvd player
There are few ways to make a mistake. Just follow the COLOR coded cable, making certain Red goes to Red, etc. Look at the connector source from the player and attach the cable to the OUT from the Player to the IN on what ever you wish to attach it to.

E390-a1 sound from speakers not working
Tries tv unplug replug it back like about an hour later for the tv do a resetting itself back to the factory setting,this might help to solved this problems.Check the sound setting in the tv setup Menu it to speaker out not something else.If u are using the tv speakers.If u are using sound bar system or reciever system make sure all the connections output are correct and functioning,this will solved the problems.

I own a 39" led vizio an I want to know what I can
The Vizio E390-A1 will read JPEG (.jpg) pictures from a FAT32 formatted USB flash drives. It will not read any other files from a USB device.
