My eBay How can I change my password

Contact eBay...change password...done

Either you're entering it incorrectly (caps lock?) or someone has "hacked" into your account and changed the password on you.

Click eBay and click "sign in". On the next page, click "Forgot Password" as shown below:

Provide the info requested or if unable to, click the Contact Customer Service link as shown below:


You should change the password for any account used with ebay specifically Paypal if it is the same - or an easy password to guess.

Log into eBay with your current password and click on the "account" tab. In the box that is just below the 3 main tabs,click on "Personal Information". In the main box of the next page "Password" is about the 3rd line down and on the right hand side of this line you need to click on "Edit" and follow the instructions through to change your password.

Click on Edit (far right side) on the Password line.

The above link should provide the information on how to change your password. If the link does not work- do a web search - " change E Bay password".

Go to ebay.com and try and log in to your account. After you log in, It should automatically ask you to change your password, and provide instructions.

If you do not get the change-password instructions, to to MyEbay > Account(tab) > Personal Information. You should see a group called Account Information. Within that group will be an Edit link for your password. Click that, and follow instructions.

changed my email address with ebay. It hasn't accepted my password since. Ebay over the phone gave me a new one - it wont work. Ebay instant messenger said he's checked my new email is ok but i still can't log on. Been with them for 5yrs without probs.

To change your password please follow the step below:

• Step One : On Any eBay Page click 'My eBay'
• Step Two : Under My Account (Right Navigation Bar) click on 'Personal Information' or 'Business Information'
• Step Three : Under Account Information and Password click on 'Edit'
• Step Four : Type in Old Password and then New Password (Twice)
• Step Five : Click 'Submit Changes' and then Login Using the New Password
