First, clean off the bottom of the door glass where it contacts the gray tub gasket when the door closes. Any hair or other build up can result in leakage. Second, if that does not completely solve your leak, you can move the location of the spring which holds the tub gasket from the very bottom (6 O'clock position) to the hinge area (9 O'clock position). Third: Sometimes, the reason you get a leak is due to the installation. If the washer was pushed into place by applying pressure in the center front of the washer, the outer front panel can be slightly deformed (inwerd) resulting in leakage from the door. If that is the case, sometimes you can remove the outer clamp and outer part of the gray seal and pull out on the front panel to correct the situation if it is not too severe, rather than replacing the entire front panel.

LG front loading washing machine. SEVERE water leak from front door. Gasket has been checked and is OK. Seems there is quite a bit of 'play' (i.e. slack or free movement) in the front door since if you...

This is a very common problem with the LG front loaders, and some other front loaders for that manner. There was a few recalls on them and some parts that were supposed to fix the issue. Even if the gasket looks ok i would replace it, as they have updated the design of the gaskets to fix issues on models that were having issues leaking. Most of the time its just a bad gasket and you cant really do anything other then replace it. Front load washers are about the worst appliance made today in my opinion, the repair shops around here are always full of broken and leaking front loaders. I have fixed quite a few myself, some work ok after the repair, some fail again in a matter of months, its a real duck shoot on them. The biggest failure rate though is the gaskets! And most of the time they look ok but still leak like a screen door.

Whirlpool Front load washer - Water leaking

I would check to see if you have a hole or crack in the rubber boot inside the door. Open the door and seperate the fold in the rubber boot and check for a leak. If something sharp was left in someones pocket it will get stuck in this part of the bood.

LG WM2688HM front loader is leaking water around the door seal

this may be coming from the soap dispenser and running down round the door way and to the bottom- investigate that first. otherwise the seal may be worn/ damaged and needs replacing.

Water leaks through bottom of Front door

The manufactures suggest putting washers on the back side of the hinge to draw the door tighter to the seal, otherwise you may have to replace the seal.
