That is a fault in the process drive motor area.
It is the assembly that operates the maintenance kit movement.
You may simply have to reseat the maintenance kit.
The motor drive train may also be mistimed. If you have purchased that machine in the last year, there is a one year onsite warranty on that product. If so have your serial number ready and call 1-800-835-6100.

Most likely you are using generic ink or ink not made for that specific machine. The black ink is the one causing the problem. the printer will then need to be reset.

The error indicates a black ink stick was jammed. You have to clear the
ISC (ink stick count) error. Turn off the printer. Turn on the printer.
As soon as you see XEROX start moving across the display hold down the
back and help buttons until you see "beginning service mode" on the
display. Release the buttons, it will now come up in the service mode.
Scroll down to the function menu, hit ok, scoll to clear isc faault,
hit ok. Hit the back button to get back to the first menu then exit
diagnostics, hit ok when it asks if you want to restart in customer
mode.
If you ever buy any Xerox ink and you get a cracked ink stick call Xerox 800-835-6100 and they will replace it free of charge. Otherwise you risk this problem.
Hope this helps.

According to http://www.laserquipt.com/support/idx/42/615/article/-Reset-the-Printer-to-the-Factory-Defaults-NVRAM-Reset-.html (and it worked for me):
NOTE: Resetting NVRAM returns stored parameters in the image processor board NVRAMto their factory default values. The print count and the Adobe firmwareserial number are not affected by this reset. You can reset the PostScript NVRAM using the Service Tools menu or the Service Diagnostics menu.
To reset the printers NVRAM using the Service Tools menu:
NOTE: Print a Configuration Page before resetting NVRAM.
Pressand hold the [Up] arrow button on the Control Panel, and then press the[OK] button. This will automatically display the Service Tools menu onthe Display Screen.
To reset the printers NVRAM using the Control Panel:
In answer to the clarification request, I suspect they have lost the admin password. Does that help you answer the question?
Manually verify that the ink stick is able to advance in the ink loader chute. Check for broken or wrong type ink cubes.
Are there obstructions or spilled ink on the Wiper Blade, the Head Tilt Gear drive path, or under the Printhead?
Is the Waste Tray overfilled?
Clean the inside of the printer and retest
